lost...

Do you remember when you realized you were lost? I don't mean in the literal sense, I mean in the sense that something was not right, something is missing. Not that we cannot return to what we were, but that we have lost the way-the way to dream. As a child the world was limitless, there was not a single goal out of our reach. Great wonders were built in our eyes, possibilities endless. I used to sit around all day and just think wondrous things up. There was not a single task beyond my reach, not a single skill beyond learning. Everyone around us was so strong, so right. The dreams we had were the basis of the future-of our world, yours and mine. As children we were the future. I was, for a lack of a better word, important, I was necessary. And so were you.

But are you now? Do you dream of great things than your works reflect? Greater things than your heart feels? There is a word for people who dream-naive. It means ignorant. This is a word that was written to crippling those who may still want more. When you dream of better things, that spark in your eyes can show the broken nature of those around, and this is why words such as "naive" are spoken. Not to show the truth in your ways but to hold you on level with those who would not see you grow, to reach for what you want.

Do not let the disparity of others hold you back. Do not let the fear of others define your boundaries. I do not care you age, what generation you came from, what label advertisers, managers, and co workers choke you with. Do not stop dreaming, do not stop hoping. You still are so full of possibility if you believe in yourself. I just think we are out of practice....

Do not let the fear that others hold close, keep you from living. Ever...
